Membership fees are the dependable base of the association. They carry rooms, materials and the training of volunteers.
What the fee carries

Rent for open practice sessions in association rooms and hired halls.

Training of volunteers, including child protection training and enhanced police certificates.

Mats, cushions, printed guidance, running both websites.
Declaration of membership
Information on data processing under Art. 13 GDPR
The controller is Universal Peace Foundation Europe e.V., Mondstrasse 10, 85609 Aschheim, info@upfeurope.org.
Purpose: establishing and performing the membership and collecting the fee. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, and Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR for tax obligations.
Recipients: our bank in order to execute the direct debit, our EU host as processor. Retention: for the duration of the membership, then ten years under tax periods.

I authorise Universal Peace Foundation Europe e.V. to collect payments of the membership fee from my account by direct debit. At the same time I instruct my bank to honour the direct debits drawn on my account by Universal Peace Foundation Europe e.V.
Note: within eight weeks of the debit date I can request a refund of the amount debited. The terms agreed with my bank apply.
Pre-notification: the fee is collected annually on 15 January. Notice of collection is given by email at least five calendar days before the due date. The mandate reference will be given to you with the confirmation of membership.
